Vivo X300 E Announced in China: Bigger Screen, 7,200mAh Battery and Flagship Snapdragon Chip
Vivo has officially expanded its premium smartphone lineup with the launch of the Vivo X300 E in China. The new device becomes the first “E” model in the X300 series and is aimed at users who prefer a larger display and longer battery life without stepping up to the expensive Pro variants.
Pre-orders for the smartphone are now live in China, while official sales will begin on July 27. Although Vivo is yet to announce the phone’s price and full specification sheet, leaks and certifications have already revealed most of its key hardware.
New Design Sets the X300 E Apart
The Vivo X300 E introduces a new design that is different from the rest of the X300 family.
Instead of Vivo’s signature circular rear camera module, the phone features a square-shaped camera island positioned in the upper-left corner. The minimalist layout gives the device a fresh look compared to the X300 and X300 Pro. Vivo has confirmed three colour options for the phone: Black, White, and Orange.
Large AMOLED Display for Everyday Use
According to previous reports, the Vivo X300 E is expected to feature a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution.
The larger panel makes it a suitable choice for users who frequently watch videos, play games, or multitask on their smartphones. It is also noticeably bigger than the 6.31-inch display found on the Vivo X300 FE.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Expected Under the Hood
Powering the smartphone is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
The flagship processor should deliver excellent performance for gaming, demanding applications, AI features, and daily multitasking. The chip is also expected to offer improved power efficiency compared to previous generations.
Triple Camera Setup
Photography is expected to be handled by a triple rear camera system that includes:
- 50MP primary sensor
- 50MP periscope telephoto camera
- 8MP ultra-wide lens
For selfies and video calls, the phone is likely to feature a 50MP front camera.
Huge Battery Is the Biggest Highlight
One of the standout features of the Vivo X300 E is its 7,200mAh battery, making it one of the largest batteries in Vivo’s premium smartphone lineup.
The phone is also expected to support 90W wired fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge the large battery.
Despite packing such a massive battery, the handset is said to measure just 7.99mm in thickness and weigh approximately 203 grams.
Premium Features Expected
The Vivo X300 E is also expected to include several flagship-grade features, such as:
- Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner
- Premium metal frame
- Flat AMOLED display
- High-capacity battery
- Snapdragon flagship processor
These features position it as an attractive option between the compact X300 FE and the more premium X300 Pro.
Will the Vivo X300 E Launch in India?
As of now, Vivo has not confirmed whether the X300 E will be introduced in the Indian market.
If it does arrive, the smartphone is expected to be priced above the Vivo X300 FE while remaining more affordable than the Vivo X300 Pro. This could make it an appealing option for buyers looking for flagship-level performance, a bigger display, and excellent battery life at a relatively lower price.
