Drishyam 3 Crosses ₹100 Crore in India, Worldwide Collection Surpasses ₹209 Crore
Mohanlal Thriller Continues Strong Box Office Run Despite Day 9 Drop
Mohanlal’s much-awaited thriller Drishyam 3 has achieved another major milestone at the box office, crossing the ₹100-crore mark in India. Although the film witnessed a noticeable decline in collections on its ninth day in theatres, it continues to perform strongly both domestically and overseas.
According to trade reports, Drishyam 3 earned ₹4.30 crore nett in India on Day 9, registering a drop of nearly 35 percent compared to the ₹6.65 crore nett it collected on the previous day.
Malayalam Version Leads the Charge
The Malayalam version remained the biggest contributor to the film’s success. On its ninth day, the film generated around ₹4 crore nett from 1,826 shows across Kerala and recorded an impressive occupancy of approximately 42 percent.
The dubbed versions also added to the overall collection:
- Telugu: ₹15 lakh nett
- Tamil: ₹10 lakh nett
- Kannada: ₹5 lakh nett
With the latest earnings, Drishyam 3 has amassed ₹86.25 crore nett and ₹100.08 crore gross in India.
Overseas Collection Pushes Worldwide Total Beyond ₹209 Crore
The film’s success has not been limited to the domestic market. Drishyam 3 continued its impressive overseas run, earning ₹6 crore on Day 9 alone.
Its total overseas gross collection has now reached ₹109 crore. Combined with its India gross earnings, the film’s worldwide collection has climbed to an impressive ₹209.08 crore.
Second Highest-Grossing Malayalam Film of 2026
Thanks to its remarkable performance, Drishyam 3 has become the second highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2026.
The film currently trails only Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros, which remains the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year with a worldwide collection of ₹235.26 crore.
With strong word-of-mouth and sustained audience interest, industry experts believe Drishyam 3 could continue its successful run in the coming weeks.
Chand Mera Dil Completes First Week
Meanwhile, Chand Mera Dil, starring Lakshya and Ananya Panday, entered its second week in theatres with a collection of ₹1.3 crore nett on Friday.
Directed by Vivek Soni, the romantic drama earned ₹17.35 crore nett during its first week. Its total domestic collection now stands at ₹20.75 crore nett (₹24.50 crore gross).
The film has also earned an additional ₹3.05 crore from international markets, taking its worldwide gross collection to ₹27.55 crore.
While Chand Mera Dil continues to attract audiences in the romance genre, Drishyam 3 remains the dominant force at the box office, setting new benchmarks for Malayalam cinema in 2026.
