Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming mythological epic Ramayana: Part One is witnessing a strong response even before reaching cinemas. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, has reportedly crossed the ₹100 crore mark in worldwide advance bookings ahead of its scheduled theatrical release on November 5, 2026.

According to trade estimates published by Sacnilk, the film has generated more than ₹100 crore in worldwide advance booking revenue, including blocked seats. Its strong pre-release performance reflects the growing anticipation surrounding the big-budget adaptation of the Indian epic.

The domestic market has contributed a significant share of the advance sales. Reports indicate that bookings for the opening three days, from Thursday to Saturday, have crossed ₹58 crore without blocked seats. Including blocked seats, the domestic advance gross has reached approximately ₹72.6 crore. Overseas markets have also played an important role, contributing more than ₹40 crore in reported pre-sales.

Strong Demand for Ramayana in Overseas Markets

North America has emerged as one of the key international markets for the film. Advance bookings for paid previews scheduled for November 4 in the United States have reportedly generated more than $1.2 million, with over 51,000 tickets sold.

The film has also recorded substantial demand for its opening weekend. More than 1.4 lakh tickets have reportedly been sold across the US for the November 4-8 period, with preview screenings accounting for a considerable portion of the total bookings.

According to trade projections, the film could earn between $13 million and $14 million during its first five days in North America. Its overseas opening weekend collection is estimated to potentially cross $20 million, with the possibility of reaching $25 million if other international markets perform well.

Apart from the US, Australia, the United Kingdom and several other overseas territories have contributed to the film’s advance booking numbers.

Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash Lead the Cast

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, Ramayana is being developed as a two-part cinematic adaptation of the ancient Indian epic.

Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi portrays Sita. Kannada actor Yash will appear as Ravana, one of the central characters in the story.

The film also features a prominent supporting cast, including Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Sheeba Chadha, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi, Kunal Kapoor and Anupam Kher.

With an extensive ensemble cast, international distribution plans and strong advance booking figures, Ramayana: Part One is among the most anticipated Indian film releases of 2026.

The first instalment is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 5, 2026. Its opening performance will be closely watched as audiences prepare to experience the epic story on the big screen.
