Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming mythological epic Ramayana has generated more than ₹5 crore in advance bookings, with Delhi-NCR and Mumbai emerging as the leading markets ahead of its scheduled November 5 release.

The buzz surrounding director Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is growing as audiences begin booking tickets for the highly anticipated film. Starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana, the movie has recorded a promising start in advance ticket sales.

According to figures reported by Sacnilk, the film had collected approximately ₹5.35 crore through advance bookings across India as of noon on October 21, 2026. Around 91,125 tickets had been sold across 3,542 shows at that point.

Ramayana Advance Booking Collection: Key Figures

The Hindi version is driving the film’s advance booking performance, contributing approximately ₹5.07 crore, or nearly 95% of the reported total.

Among the dubbed versions, Kannada ranked second with collections of around ₹27.11 lakh, while the Telugu version had recorded approximately ₹48,700. The reported overall occupancy stood at 12% at the time of the update.

These figures indicate that the Hindi market is currently the primary contributor to the film’s advance ticket sales.

Delhi-NCR Leads, Mumbai Follows

Delhi-NCR emerged as the strongest market for Ramayana in the initial booking period, generating approximately ₹1.50 crore from 19,607 tickets.

Mumbai secured the second position with around ₹1.08 crore in collections from 15,671 tickets. Other cities also contributed to the film’s early performance.

The reported city-wise advance booking figures were:

  • Delhi-NCR: ₹1.50 crore from 19,607 tickets
  • Mumbai: ₹1.08 crore from 15,671 tickets
  • Pune: ₹29.65 lakh from 4,474 tickets
  • Ahmedabad: ₹28.32 lakh from 3,383 tickets
  • Kolkata: ₹23.65 lakh from 4,393 tickets

The early numbers suggest considerable interest in the film across several major Indian markets, although its final opening performance will depend on ticket sales closer to release.

Ramayana Tickets Cost Up to ₹2,770 in Mumbai

Ticket prices for selected premium screenings have also attracted attention. According to BookMyShow listings cited in the report, recliner seats for IMAX 3D shows at PVR ICON: Phoenix Palladium in Mumbai’s Lower Parel area were priced at ₹2,770 for selected screenings on November 5 and 6.

Mumbai’s screening schedule includes an early-morning show at Miraj Cinemas: IMAX in Wadala at 6:45 am. A late-night screening is listed at Maison INOX: Jio World Plaza in BKC at 11:45 pm.

The premium ticket prices reflect the cost of selected high-end cinema experiences and should not be taken as the standard price across all theatres.

Ramayana Release Date and Cast

Ramayana is planned as a two-part cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic. The first instalment is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 5, 2026, with the second part planned for release in 2027.

The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the ambitious project has attracted attention for its scale, star cast and retelling of one of India’s best-known mythological stories.

With advance bookings already crossing the ₹5 crore mark in the reported figures, the film’s next major milestone will be its opening-day performance. Further ticket sales in the days leading up to release will provide a clearer picture of audience demand and its potential box office debut.
