Nothing Phone 4b Launches in India With Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, 6,000mAh Battery; RCB Edition Also Unveiled
Nothing has officially introduced the Nothing Phone 4b in India, marking the debut of its new ‘b’ series smartphones. Alongside the standard model, the company also announced a special Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition, created for fans of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru franchise. The limited-edition smartphone is available through an exclusive drop event at Nothing’s flagship store in Bengaluru.
The Nothing Phone 4b is positioned as the most affordable device in the company’s Phone 4 lineup, offering premium design elements, long software support, and a large battery while targeting buyers in the mid-range smartphone segment.
Nothing Phone 4b Price in India
The Nothing Phone 4b has been launched in two storage configurations:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage: ₹34,999
- 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage: ₹38,999
As part of the launch offers, buyers can avail of an instant bank discount of up to 7.5%, along with exchange benefits on eligible devices.
The smartphone will go on sale across India from July 14 through Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and selected offline retail stores. It will be available in Black, White, and Blue colour options.
Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition
Nothing also introduced the Phone 4b RCB Edition, a limited-edition version celebrating its partnership with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The special model is currently available only through a limited launch event at the company’s Bengaluru flagship store, making it an exclusive offering for collectors and RCB supporters.
Display and Design
The Nothing Phone 4b features a 6.77-inch Full HD+ Samsung Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 × 2344 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1,000Hz instant touch sampling rate, 480Hz PWM dimming, and delivers up to 2,000 nits peak brightness for improved outdoor visibility.
The display is protected by AGC DT-Star 2 glass, while the handset carries an IP64 certification, providing resistance against dust and water splashes.
One of the biggest highlights is Nothing’s signature Glyph Bar on the rear panel. Built using 45 programmable mini-LEDs, it supports customizable lighting effects for notifications, timers, recording indicators, charging progress, volume level, NFC status, Flip to Glyph mode, bedtime schedules, and more.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Processor
Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor paired with the Adreno 810 GPU and Qualcomm’s AI Engine. The chipset is designed to deliver efficient everyday performance, improved AI capabilities, and smoother gaming experiences.
The device comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and offers 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage options.
To maintain stable performance during extended usage, Nothing has equipped the phone with a 4,400 sq mm vapour chamber cooling system, helping manage heat while gaming or multitasking.
Nothing OS 4.1 Based on Android 16
The Nothing Phone 4b ships with Nothing OS 4.1, built on Android 16. The software retains the company’s clean user interface with minimal pre-installed applications and useful customization options.
Nothing has committed to providing three years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, giving users long-term software support.
Camera Features
For photography, the Phone 4b includes a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary Samsung sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), autofocus, and an f/1.8 aperture.
Supporting the main camera is an 8MP ultra-wide lens offering a 119.5-degree field of view for landscape photography and group shots.
On the front, the smartphone houses a 16MP selfie camera capable of capturing detailed selfies and recording videos in up to 4K at 30fps.
Battery and Charging
The smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery, making it one of the larger batteries available in its price segment.
Charging is supported through 33W wired fast charging, with Nothing claiming the battery can be fully charged in around 80 minutes. The handset also supports 7.5W wired reverse charging, allowing users to power compatible accessories directly from the phone.
