- In Bengaluru, two infants—a three-month-old baby who has now been discharged and an eight-month-old currently under treatment—were diagnosed with the virus.
- Another case involved a two-month-old baby in Ahmedabad.
None of the affected families have reported recent travel history, suggesting that the virus may already be circulating locally.
