After the much-anticipated release of Moana 2, Disney has now confirmed the streaming date for another major film from the 2024 holiday season—Mufasa: The Lion King. Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins, this prequel explores the extraordinary journey of Mufasa, a lost cub who rises to become the legendary king of the Pride Lands.
The film, which hit theaters on December 20, 2024, is set to premiere on JioHotstar on March 26, 2025.
