Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7: Specs, Price, and Launch Details
Samsung recently held its much-anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event, unveiling the Galaxy S25 series. While the devices have yet to go on sale, leaks about the next-generation Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 have already begun circulating online. Samsung typically reveals its Galaxy ‘Z’ series lineup in June or July during an Unpacked event. If the timeline remains consistent, the phones could debut in approximately six months.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 Specifications
According to a leak by PandaFlashPro on X (formerly Twitter), the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will come with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB and 512GB. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is also expected to feature 12GB of RAM, with storage variants of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. This storage and RAM configuration matches the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 series from last year.
The Z Fold 7 is rumored to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a significant upgrade over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 found in its predecessor. However, there is no confirmation yet if the Flip 7 will also be equipped with the same SoC.
An earlier report indicated that Samsung was considering the Exynos 2500 processor for the two models. However, due to production issues, the Exynos chip might only be used in the Flip 7.
Expected Pricing
The tipster has also hinted that Samsung is unlikely to increase the prices for the new foldable lineup. If this remains true, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 may start at ₹1,09,999, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may start at ₹1,64,999.
Camera Specifications
As per leaks, the camera specifications are likely to remain unchanged from last year’s models. Both devices are expected to feature a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP selfie shooter.
